Monaco striker Radamel Falcao is ready to turn down Manchester City in favour of Premier League runners up Liverpool.
Both English clubs were on alert after rumours surfaced the Colombian striker was unhappy after just a single season in Ligue 1.
If forced to sell the striker, Monaco were keen to sell to the highest bidder with one eye on Manchester City's impressive bank account, but reports from Falcao's home land suggest the striker would favour a move to Merseyside - if Liverpool can match Monaco's asking price.
