Transfer News - Liverpool: Rafa Keen To Keep Dossena
Andrea Dossena hasn't had a good time with Liverpool so far and is being linked with a move away, a move that would not leave that many Reds fans overly disappointed. However Rafa Benitez has stressed that he isn't interested in selling the defender, as he explained to the Daily Star:
'I am not considering selling Dossena.
'I think it is important to keep the squad together.'
The Italian cost us a fee believed to be around £7m in the summer but has failed to impress when given the chance. Most feel that the left back never will impress, but others think that he should be given more time to show what he can do and he then will prove himself. I'm not convinced he will do, but then again Rafa does tend to stick by those that he pays big money for, sometimes more out of stubbornness than anything else.
