Brazilian striker Fred accused Harry Redknapp of being a "liar" after his £4 million move to Tottenham broke down last night.
Spurs boss Redknapp claimed Lyon striker Fred did not show up at a meeting on Tuesday to discuss the move.
But Fred's agent and brother Rodrigo claims it was Redknapp who stood them up in France last weekend. He said: "What Redknapp said is a lie, Fred never said he would come to a meeting.
"Redknapp said he would come to see us in France on Sunday but he did not come.
