Roma defender Christian Panucci is a shock target for Hull City.
The Daily Mail says the Tigers are holding further talks over their ambitious bid to sign Panucci. Panucci, 35, a former Italy international, is interested in the move but is believed to be chasing improved terms. He flew in to Hull yesterday for talks.
Manager Phil Brown has said he is keen to make at least one more signing but he may have to bring in a new midfielder and striker due to injury concerns.
