Liverpool star striker Fernando Torres has warned captain Steve Gerrard not to rush back from his hamstring injury.
Gerrard picked up a hamstring tear during the FA Cup replay defeat at Everton earlier this month, and the England international is expected to be out for a further two weeks.
It is believed Gerrard could make his return for the Reds' Champions League clash against Real Madrid, but Torres has warned his team-mate of returning too early and possibly aggravating the injury.
"Stevie doesn't have a substitute at Liverpool," said Torres. It's his name first on the teamsheet then 10 others.
"Stevie is the lad every great side has - our leader, the one-club man. "But I know from experience hamstring problems are risky. If you get one there's nothing you can do but let it repair."
