Inter to bid for Aguerro in summer

Inter Milan's technical director Marco Branca has confrmed Atletico Madrid star Sergio Aguero is on their list of targets for the summer transfer window.

Argentine ace Aguero is one of the most sought-after players in Europe after impressing for club and country over the last few years.

"Like other players he has everything to be considered a top player, a really good player," Branca told Corriere dello Sport. "We admit following certain players from the many people who each weekend are going to watch matches for us."

Branca insists Inter have not made any enquiries for Aguero and that they are only keeping tabs on his progress.

"But we have not asked the price or opened a negotiation. Neither for him or other players," added Branca. "Now we think only to the present."

Branca did confirm Inter would be recalling Robert Acquafresca from his loan spell at Cagliari at the end of the season.

Acquafresca has impressed at Cagliari and Inter are keen to have the striker in their squad next season.

"Yes [he will return], in Cagliari he's doing good things," concluded Branca.
