Lennon commits to Tottenham
Reports suggesting Liverpool are tracking Tottenham's Aaron Lennon may dissipate somewhat with the news that winger has put pen to paper on a contract extension to keep him at White Hart Lane until June 2014.
Delighted Spurs boss Harry Redknapp told Sky Sports News: "He's just signed a new contract extension, so he's here for the next 5 years anyway.
"It's good news for the club. He wants to stay, we want to keep him. We've had no enquiries anyway, to be honest.
"He's a young player with a great future.
"He's been fantastic since I've been here so we're delighted to have secured him long-term.
"He's got all the ability, he's so quick. He's learning the game still. He's not the finished article. He has to keep listening and taking everything on board: take the good advice he gets given.
"He's a great little lad. If he keeps listening and he wants to learn, he could go on to be a fantastic player."
