TORRES Front-Runner for PFA Fans' Player of the Month award


Fernando Torres is amongst the frontrunners for the PFA Fans' Player of the Month award for March.

The Spain striker found the back of the net on two occasions as Liverpool romped to emphatic victories over Real Madrid, Manchester United and Aston Villa.

Other leading contenders include Didier Drogba, Aaron Lennon, Cristiano Ronaldo and Robin van Persie, with the winner to be decided by a fans' poll.

Torres won the award in February, with teammate Steven Gerrard prevailing in January and December.
