Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez has revealed he already knows how much he can spend this summer.
Benitez confirmed: "No manager ever has enough money but you must work with what you have.
"We are working hard monitoring players but I will not give out names.
"But if you are going for very expensive players then you have to manage. There is a financial crisis around the world so things are difficult but if we have to sell someone maybe we will have to do that.
"But we have several players out on loan that we could sell. It is not about selling our key players, that will not happen.
"I have been talking to Mascherano today about what he has been saying and we understand each other."
