Liverpool's Offer Confirmed by Lavezzi's Agent
The agent of Napoli frontman Ezequiel Lavezzi has confirmed Liverpool have made an offer for the Argentine International.
He has insisted that Liverpool had offered his client Thrice as much as he is earning with the Naples Outfit.
A couple of weeks ago, there were rumours Liverpool had made a 22million Euro bid for Lavezzi, however now Eduardo Rossetto (Lavezzi's agent) says there is a concrete offer from Rafa's team: "There is a definite proposal from Liverpool.
'The one thing I can say, that so far I have kept confidential, is that (Napoli manager) Marino met twice with the FIFA agent Pablo Cosentino, who invited him to set a meeting in either Liverpool or Naples with the British club.'
Rossetto was asked if this meeting had taken place yet, : 'No. And we do not want to compel Napoli to sell the player. But I think it is appropriate that the club consider the offer: to judge that it is either sufficient or insufficient.'
