Fernando Torres has ruled out a move to Manchester United Football Club.
The Premier League champions have been linked with a sensational £40million bid for the Spanish international, but the ex-Atletico Madrid ace insists his future is at Liverpool.
“I don’t know anything about Manchester United, just that it has been in the newspapers,” he said. “Listen, my team is Liverpool and this is very clear to me.”
The possibility of the Anfield club selling Torres to United was always absurd, and now this should end all speculation of what would have been the biggest shock in transfer history.
