Tottenham striker Peter Crouch still holds his former club Liverpool in the highest regard, so much so that he would like to see them win the Premier league this season. The England international spent three years at Anfield prior to being sold to Portsmouth, but he suggested they remain the most enjoyable years of his career thus far.
Crouch told Sky Sports News: “I found it difficult to score in the first part of my time there (at Liverpool) and the fans were fantastic to me.”
“I went on to score a good amount of goals and had the best years of my career.”
“I'd love to see them win the league.”
