Tottenham clash at Anfield called off due to bad weather
Liverpool's match against Tottenham on Sunday has been postponed. After discussions between the club, police and the Premier League it has been agreed that the safety of fans meant that this match had to be postponed
'The football side of the club obviously wanted to play the match.
'But this is a safety issue. The local roads around Anfield are little more than sheets of ice and very dangerous. The police and the local council both agreed with our request to the league.'
People will argue that more time should've been given before this announcement but conditions weren't expected to improve so if they're dangerous now they'd be dangerous on Sunday as well.
