United preparing bid for Suarez
Manchester United are rumoured to be prepared to table a massive £65 million bid for Liverpool’s Luis Suarez with hopes of beating Real Madrid to the lethal striker, Metro reports.
It is believed that Louis van Gaal has around £200 million to spend in order to rebuild the Red Devil’s squad and could turn to a Luis Suarez – Robin van Persie link up next season in order to bring them back to their title winning ways.
However, United will need to fight off the interest from Real Madrid, who are said to be ready to offer Brendan Rodgers’ side £50 million to lure the Uruguayan front man to Spain.
Suarez recently extended his contract at Anfield back in December before he became the Premier League’s top goal scorer with 31 goals in 33 appearances despite missing the first six games due to a suspension.
Although the Reds will be very unwilling to let their star forward leave, especially to their Manchester rivals, an offer of £65 million may be very hard to resist.

This is the most ridiculous hooey ever said. Why would Suarez even think about going from a Champions League side to a 7th place team not playing in Europe, after working so hard to earn a UCL berth? Makes zero sense.
