Barcelona declare Arsenal star waste of money
Barcelona have left the door open for AC Milan to grab Emmanuel Adebayor if they wish after a source at Barcelona told Spanish radio that Adebayor would be a waste of money.
The report said the source had stated that the only Arsenal player they have any interest in would be Cesc Fabregas and that any move for him would have to wait until at least the end of the season and then it depends on how he returns from his injury.
Adebayor has not shown the form of last season that had him being linked with the major clubs in Europe and anyone reading Arsenal forums will see that its not only Barcelona that see him as a waste of money, in fact some of the Arsenal fans would be more than glad to see him sold.
AC Milan’s interest in the player has also declined with virtually no mention of him being linked to Milan this winter.
That said if Adebayor picks up over the last five months of the season then Arsenal may find interest in the player back on, it all depends on how he performs from now on if he is to return to the value he once was, both to his present club and any would be suitors.
