Liverpool line up super swap deal with Spurs?
While it is true that Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp would love to see Robbie Keane pull on a Spurs shirt again, the chances of him offering Aaron Lennon in part-exchange appear to be zero.
The same applies to Jermaine Jenas, recently described as 'outstanding' by Redknapp.
Nonetheless Liverpool manager Rafa Benitez is supposedly weighing up an offer from Spurs, which would mean the Reds would not have to pay the balance of the £20.3m still owed.
So, according to the report, the Reds would save £11m plus Keane's wages if a deal is done.
The question is would Rafa prefer to save money than have the player?
The answer must surely be Liverpool will be keen to keep Keane!
