Man City Planning £40million Swoop For Aguero?
Reportedly, big spenders Manchester City are believed to be eyeing the capture of Atletico Madrid striker Sergio Aguero at the end of the season, which could be one of their major signings in the summer.
A bid somewhere around the region of £40million could be sufficient to tempt the La Liga side to sell their striker, but persuading Argentine International Aguero to move to the Premier League could be a challenge after he expressed his desire to stay in Spain.
"I am tired of all the buzz about where I might be going - the club does not want to sell me and I want to continue at Atletico so things are clear," said Aguero.
"I do not know what will happen in the summer.
"But I have a contract with Atletico. I know from my agent that many clubs have asked about me and some even submitted a bid but I have not thought about leaving because I am happy here."
