Reserves hotshot Krisztian Nemeth could not prevent loan club Blackpool slumping to a 3-0 defeat to QPR on Tuesday in his first senior game in English football.
The Hungarian, who was the star of Gary Ablett's title-winning reserves last term, came on after 59 minutes for the Championship side.
The 20-year-old agreed a month-long loan at Bloomfield Road on Monday.
Already part of the Hungary national squad, he has yet to feature in a competitive clash for Rafa Benitez's first team.
