Reira confident of United slip-up
Liverpool winger Albert Riera says Manchester United will stumble in the Premiership before season end.
"There will be a lot of twists and turns to come before the title is settled and it arrives at its destination," Riera told LFC Magazine.
"We want Anfield to be that destination and so first and foremost we must take care of our own business. We must be perfect in our home games to make sure that we stay in the hunt.
"Manchester United will slip up somewhere along the way between now and the end of the season - I am sure of that.
"The run they are on is impressive, but they do not have easy fixtures between now and the end of the season and somewhere along the way someone will do us a favour - we hope.
"United are involved in all the competitions, whereas for us it is all about the league and the Champions League. They have an additional demand and, while it might only be an extra three or four games for them, we have to hope that somewhere along the line it trips them up.
"Then when we go there to play them next week we can hopefully take advantage, win, and really put them under pressure until the end. We will be there waiting and hoping to pounce."
