Rafa Silva Indulge in Face-to-Face Talks

Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez has held talks with Valencia winger David Silva, it has been revealed.

The Mirror says it emerged last night that Benitez is pursuing Spain international winger David Silva with some vigour, and met with him in their native country earlier this week.

Silva told his fellow Spaniard that he would love to play in the Premier League, but there is still the stumbling block of the fee his club Valencia are demanding.

Benitez would pay around £17million for the 23 year old, but if his heavily indebted Spanish side try to spark an auction with the likes of Real Madrid and Barcelona, then he will pull out of the bidding.
