Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez has escaped with a warning as to his future conduct by the FA.
The Liverpool boss will not suffer the indignity of a touch-line ban, or even a fine - for his humorous escapade of taking off his glasses at a post-match press conference to indicate that referee Phil Dowd might have needed the aid of glasses.
Benitez was critical of Dowd's failure to award two penalties in Liverpool's defeat against Spurs on the opening day of the season, despite the referee having awarded Benitez'a side a spot-kick earlier in the game.
