Babel to be swapped for Huntelaar
Liverpool winger Ryan Babel could swap Anfield for the San Siro after Italian giants AC Milan were reported to be considering a swap deal for striker Klass-Jan Huntelaar.
The Rossaneri are weighing up trading the Dutch duo after Huntelaar's failure to secure a first-team place at the Serie A outfit since his €15 million move from Real Madrid last summer.
Babel, who was previously linked with a move to Birmingham City, has also struggled to cement a regular role in Rafael Benitez's side amidst high-profile outbursts in the Dutch press and on micro-blogging site Twitter.
Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal are also set to battle the Reds for the Huntelaar's signature with Babel's arrival expected to provide more options for Milan alongside first-team regulars Ronaldinho and Alexandre Pato.
With both Babel and Huntelaar eager to prove their worth to Bert van Marwijk before he names his Holland side that will travel to this summer's World Cup finals in South Africa.
Huntelaar, 26, has also been linked with a loan switch to Bundesliga side Hamburger SV.
