Steven Gerrard has targeted Liverpool's game with Wolverhampton Wanderers for his comeback from injury.
The Reds captain had been ruled out for up to a fortnight with a hamstring problem picked up in last week's FA Cup exit to Reading but is expected to return to training in the next few days ahead of the trip to Molineux.
Gerrard, 29, hinted at a return in his programme notes from Liverpool's programme for the 2-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday night.
He wrote: "I'm hoping to return in time for the Wolves game next week, that's my target.
"It's always a nightmare for me when I'm injured and I can't help the team."
