La Liga ace to join Liverpool
Liverpool Football Club have been linked with a stunning move for Wesley Sneijder.
he midfielder became the second most expensive Dutchman in history when he moved from Ajax to Real Madrid for €27million in 2007.
Sneijder was superb in his debut season at the Bernabeu, helping Los Blancos to the league title, but his form hasn’t been mirrored this term.
Reports in Spain suggest Juventus are lining up a move for the 24-year-old if they fail to land Werder Bremen’s Diego, who they see as Pavel Nedved’s replacement.
However, it is also being reported that Rafael Benitez is keen on Sneijder, but he may struggle to persuade his Anfield board to stump up the €27million valuation.
