Reds interested in Milner
Liverpool manager Rafa Benitez has made an enquiry for Aston Villa winger James Milner but is unlikely to sign him, reports claim.
Villa paid Newcastle £12m for the former Leeds midfielder last summer and the England Under-21 international still has three years left on his Villa Park contract.
Benitez is keen to recruit a creative and industrious English winger and Milner, who made his international debut in the 2-2 draw against Holland in midweek, fits the bill but Villa manager Martin O'Neill is unlikely to sell.
